About Rhythm’s Creator
Your Ritual is My Passion
Rhythm Ritual Pilates studio is curated and created by a real person who cares about WHO you are, WHERE you’ve been, WHAT you’ve experienced, and who you are BECOMING each and every day.
Corinne Olson is a comprehensively certified Stott Pilates instructor and clinical Frederick Stretch Therapist with over a decade of kinesiology education and experience. Her earliest memories have her magnetically drawn to art, dance, theater & circus, literature, and anatomy. Originally a small town girl from Julian, California, she was lucky enough to spend five years living between Japan, Germany and Iceland. When life allowed it, she enthusiastically studied ballet and opera for 19 years, trained and toured with the Icelandic circus Sirkus Íslands, and performed in musical theater productions in Japan, Germany, England and Iceland. She credits her time living and working on an isolated farm in Iceland as a life changing healing journey that dramatically altered her life path. Her ballet ambitions were halted by a traumatic dance injury that left her permanently physically inhibited; yet led her to discover her profession as a Stott Pilates Rehab Therapist, clinical FST Therapist, and Dance Movement Therapist specializing in neurological disorders, PTSD, and rehabilitation/injury recovery. She is elated to offer a safe space to allow all bodies pain-free, body affirming movement that honors any anatomical limitations and wellness goals. Corinne is especially joyful to finally build a studio space which reflects her unique vision: an environment that reimagines the shape (and shapeless) form of organic movement, and offers a flourishing space for bodies and beings at their most authentic core.
Corinne has lived in North Park for 12 years and truly loves the vibrant, artistic voice within this neighborhood. She is honored to add her own to the chorus of this community!
